South Austin Condo Market Showing Continued Strength

South Austin is certainly one of the hottest real estate markets in our city.  In particular, real estate in zip code 78704 is among the most desirable in all of Austin, and here’s why: proximity to Barton Springs Pool, Zilker Park, Barton Creek Greenbelt, and Lady Bird Lake are just a few of the reasons this area is so popular.  Within the 78704 zip code, area 7 consists of the roughly the western half of the zip code. These ABOR areas may seem arbitrary, but they are useful for many reasons, as properties in area 7 cannot be realistically compared to those in area 6.
